For the fourth year in a row we asked NineDots Gathering ticket holders to submit three images each into the Gathering Print Competition sponsored by our friends at Loxley Colour… Andy, Rahul and Adam judged our 20 favourites and Loxley Colour printed and mounted the 20 finalists which were up on display at Bounce for the duration of the 2019 Gathering.

The final judging is always done by a selection of our Gathering presenters and this year the winners were chosen by Lanny Mann, Joshua D’Hondt and Froydis Geithus.

So without further ado the Gathering 2019 Print Competition winner is…

2019 Gathering Print Competition 1st Place WINNER – Yves Schepers, Belgium

Lanny said that this image had everything – contrast, cleverness, movement, creativity, light, shadow… He said all three judges unanimously chose this image by Yves to be the Gathering 2019 print competition winner.

2019 Gathering Print Competition 2nd Place – Tom Orsino-Allen, Lina and Tom, UK

Joshua said that sometimes the simplest moments at weddings are the hardest to capture well and she said everything about this image was attractive, and she was sure it captured the couple’s personalities perfectly while immortalising a key moment of the day.

Froydis said that this image showed such vision and really drew you in. She applauded Yves for seeing this moment and waiting for it to come together in this way.
