About NineDots

For 10 years, NineDots has been supporting and helping wedding photographers just like you.
NineDots is the wedding photography learning community
It all started back in 2014 with our uniquely collaborative wedding photography workshops, then we hosted the first NineDots Gathering in 2015.
The amazing, supportive community of wedding photographers that was born out of those events led to the launch of NineDots Membership in 2018, and since then we have grown and expanded both our online membership, courses and community as well as constantly adding new in-person events to bring wedding photographers and film-makers together to learn and grow their businesses.
Our long term partnership with Loxley Colour took on an exciting new angle in 2024 with the launch of our own range of albums for wedding photographers – The Visual Legacy Album. 2024 also sees our first event for film-makers: Coda – Organised in collaboration with our friend RooFilms
We are super proud to be at the helm of this fantastic, welcoming and progressive group of wedding photographers and business owners from all over the world.
We welcome and support wedding photographers from all backgrounds and identities, and are committed to making our industry a diverse and inclusive one. Whoever you are, at whatever stage in your life or career, you are welcome in NineDots.
MEET THE NineDots FOUNDERS
The photographers behind NineDots are Rahul Khona (he/him) and Andy Gaines (he/him)
Rahul Khona
A former graphic designer, Rahul’s love for the visual arts shines brightly in his wedding photography.
Within the short time in his career, Rahul, London Wedding Photographer has travelled worldwide shooting weddings in India, Italy, France, Spain, Cyprus, Mexico and the USA as well as all over the UK and in his home city of London. He’s a multiple award winner and is proud to have judged major wedding photography awards too.
ANDY GAINES
Andy is a multi award winning -photographer who strives to bring the awesome to every wedding.
Based in the historic city of York, Andy has shot, and continues to shoot, weddings around the globe for over 13 years.
He was named as one of the Top 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography in the world by the influential Rangefinder Magazine, has received numerous prestigious international awards and has been TWIA Wedding Photographer of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards.
He balances running his own photography business, with co-steering the good ship NineDots and spending time with his family.
