NineDots Award Honorary Mentions – by Jenn Nauss // July 2018
For the July 2018 NineDots awards, we were delighted to be joined by one of NineDots’ best friends, the amazing Jenn Nauss of Cooked Photography in Canada. We were proud to have Jenn as one of our presenters at the 2017 NineDots Gathering and we were so happy to have her back to judge this month’s awards alongside Adam and Rahul.
NineDots isn’t an awards company and at our roots we’re all about education, inspiration, development and progression. So we don’t believe in just letting awards entries just float off into the ether, never to be seen again. That’s why we offer all entrants an opportunity to receive personalised feedback on their entry and why we ask our guest judges, when possible, to share their thoughts on the judging process and their favourite images from the collection they judged.
Rahul caught up with Jenn last week to chat through some of the entries and to get some insight from her into what makes an image special. Some really great thoughts here. Thanks so much again for being such an enthusiastic part of NineDots, Jenn and we can’t wait to see you again soon!
