At NineDots we believe in awards as a fuel for continual improvement rather than being purely for peer recognition or creating hierarchy, so our judges provide their expert insight into the judging process and offer feedback on the images entered through these regular ‘expert insight’ pieces. This helps everyone improve their craft – those who entered and those who didn’t, by getting advice from photographers at the top of the industry around the world.
