Well, we’ve waited long enough! We are super excited to welcome you to the NineDots Gathering 2022 and wanted to give you all the info you need for the event.
For us, this has always been our passion project. We know there has been an explosive increase in multi-speaker events over the last five years but we believe the NineDots Gathering is something different and unique and we’re so thankful you’re a part of this – the sixth NineDots Gathering!
We founded NineDots in November 2014 and we could never imagined being here, ready to host for the sixth time at Bounce in London, and with NineDots being the strongest and most supportive wedding photography community in the world! Everything you need to know about the event is below, but let us know if you’ve got any questions or need anything from us.
We will be holding a registration drinks event on Sunday night for all our attendees to get their wristbands for entry to the event and as a chance for people to meet up for a casual drink and say hello etc. If you’re in London we’d love to see you there too but it’s totally up to you!
We will be at Bounce in Farringdon – there is a Bounce in Shoreditch too so please don’t get confused and go to the wrong one. The Bounce we will be at is in Chancery Lane, just by Hatton Gardens. The entrance is slightly hidden but is next to Boots Pharmacy.
The nearest tube is Chancery Lane – take exit 2 to the street. Farringdon station is also only a 4 minute walk. You can also Uber but allow extra time for London commuter rush hour.
The venue is split into two rooms. The large open room where the main stage presentations and most of the day takes place, and the side room; ‘The Jacques Room’ – this is where the Mini Masterclasses take place during lunch and breaks. When the last talks finish at 4pm we can all move into the Jacques room for the ping pong tournament on day one and the Q&A session on day 2.
We will be at bounce from 7am on Monday and 7:30am Tuesday/Wednesday and you can unload/set up during this time before the guests arrive at 8:15am.

There is no parking at Bounce as it’s a city centre venue in a busy location. You can stop on the street outside to load/unload but not for long so please bear this in mind.
The venue is one floor below street level accessed via a staircase. There is no lift.
You can access the venue from 7am Monday and 7:30am Tuesday/Wednesday for setting up.
We generally set aside 2 of the large ping tables in one corner of the main room to accommodate all our in-person sponsors – this should provide adequate space for all the exhibitors at the event – If you have any specific requirements please let us know in advance.
At 4pm once the talks finish you’ll have 30 minutes to pack everything away – we can’t leave anything out overnight, but you will be able to leave things in a secure room at the venue if you wish. The main space is open to the public from 4:30pm at which point we move into a different room on the Monday and Tuesday for the ping pong tournament party and QA session
Breakfast and lunch is included both days. Our guests arrive from 8am both days which is 45 mins before the presentations begin. The food will be buffet style and there should be something to please most people. The ping pong bats and balls will be out and we encourage as much ping pong action as possible. Please feel free to join in!
You’ll have the option to order food from the bar at the day 1 ping pong tournament party and the food will be brought into our private party room. There will be time for you to get some dinner between the end of day 2 and the after party up the road. Please email us to let us know about any specific dietary requirements.

After day 1 we move through to the evening room for drinks followed by the ping pong tournament from 6pm. You’ll be randomly assigned a doubles partner to keep it fair! We will stay in this room until midnight having fun and also maybe busting out some karaoke… you know how it is! You’ll also be able to order food from the bar.
We’d love you to join us for our after-party! Oh, and we’ve got the legendary Martin2Smoove on the decks. If you know, you know.
