About

Winner Best Brownie Ever – 2012. Awarded by Nephew.

Heather is Michigan’s most Harry Potter obsessed wedding photographer. When she’s not making up awards and accomplishments, shooting a wedding, or getting her roots touched up, she calls a 164 year old farm house in rural Michigan home.

When it comes down to it, she just likes making people feel good, and making them laugh is her favorite way to do it. She’s a true extrovert, so you can expect to find her red hair somewhere near the middle of every room, and no, you can’t buy her a drink, but she’ll take a diet coke.

This is a talk about that time. This is a talk about what I did when the shit hit the fan. I’ll shares the lessons learned from that one glorious failure, including the ground rules I’ve since developed for customer care. We’ll talk about how you can use empathy to level up your customer service game and create an evangelist army of former brides and grooms.

This is definitely something I’ve applied to my wedding workflow, from shooting to culling to editing. I’ll share an as of yet undetermined number of tips, no fewer than 3 but not to exceed 47, on how to finish editing every wedding the week you shoot it. Oh, did I mention I finish editing every wedding the week I shoot it?
