Ninedots Gathering
The NineDots Gathering is a widely acclaimed annual conference for wedding photographers, attracting around 150 attendees from all over the UK and the rest of the world. Previously held in London each November, the Gathering is renown for it’s perfect blend of inspiring keynote presentations, practical workshops, and the high quality social events that provide opportunities for networking and connecting with like minded individuals and brands. In 2023 we’re taking the Gathering to another level, with a bigger capacity venue in Manchester for 100+ attendees plus cheaper ticket prices making it the largest Wedding Photography conference in the UK whilst still maintaining all the ingredients that make the NineDots Gathering unique.

We are always looking for sponsors who fit with our brand and ascetic and will appeal to our vast network of photographers and all areas of their business. All exhibiting sponsors are located in the main room where talks and social time takes place, so throughout the conference there are constant opportunities to talk and interact with attendees, this marks us out as different from many other conferences and is one of the key the reason why sponsors come back each year.

When we were searching for the perfect place to hold the first gathering, we looked at some of the normal conference and seminar spaces and we were so underwhelmed. We knew we wanted an intimate, social, boutique vibe for the gathering and when we found Bounce in Chancery Lane we knew we had found the perfect venue. But after hosting our conference at Bounce for 7 years, it’s time to move on to a bigger venue, attracting more attendees but still creating that perfect blend of education and social balance.
About NineDots
NineDots is an educational community for wedding photographers offering membership programme. Members pay an annual membership that includes exclusive access to online content in the form of videos and online classes from the world’s best wedding photographers and businesses, awards, discounts and workshops, as well as the annual NineDots Gathering. Working with the ever-growing NineDots Community we strive to bring photography and business education to wedding photographers around the world in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We are proud of the high quality content and events we offer both members and none members. We are a thriving and activity community with high quality inspirational events, great connections and working with some of the best businesses around. Diversity of speakers and attendees is something that is important to us, we take a proactive approach when seeking speakers and educators from a variety of backgrounds. NineDots have 400+ members who pay an online membership. This gives them access to 100s of hours of high quality online learning, support groups, discounts from sponsors and access to events and workshops. In addition, some online and in person workshops and events such as the NineDots Gathering are also open to none members. Our mailing list currently includes a round 4000 photographers from all over the world.
This year the annual NineDots Gathering is aimed at around 200 attendees and is a two day immersive event in Manchester. Over the last few years, around 70% of attendees were from the UK and 30% of attendees have come from Europe and the rest of the world – this increased each year as word spread about the quality of the event. In 2021 due to the pandemic, the audience is 90% UK based. Our attendee demographics are roughly been 45% Female / 55% Male. The ages of our attendees are 66% 25-34, 28% 35-49 and the remainder under 24. Our event definitely appeals to the younger demographic. Diversity of speakers and attendees is something that is important to us, we take a proactive approach when seeking speakers and educators from a variety of backgrounds.
